Formula: managers × hours per manager per week × loaded hourly cost. Annual baseline multiplies weekly cost by 52. This does not assume any specific software will eliminate the work.
How to use the number
Compare the baseline with the cost of software and, more importantly, the operational value of fewer scheduling corrections, clearer shift communication and cleaner handoffs into time tracking. Do not treat the full baseline as “savings.” Managers will still spend time planning and handling real exceptions.
